I drove to Coronado and took some images after battling the temptation to sleep in that morning with the sound of heavy rain heard against the window as my alarm went off before sunrise

and in this instance a welcoming to the City of Denver

This made for an interesting drive home

Afternoon at Sloans Lake Size:16"x20" With street construction in theI headed to Sloans Lake for some afternoon light on a November afternoon. First stop was photographing the skyline across the lake with a steady breeze blowing. Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind. Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day
